The Department of Health has launched a statewide survey to gather valuable feedback on the Victorian Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Service, a free health service available for all Victorian families with children from birth to school age.
All parents, mothers, fathers, carers and families who have accessed Victorian MCH services in the past two years are invited to participate and share their experiences.
The survey encompasses all components of the MCH Service – the Universal MCH program including the 10 Key Ages and Stages visits, the Enhanced MCH Program, the Aboriginal MCH program and the 24-hour telephone support service, the MCH line.
Anonymous feedback gathered in the survey will provide valuable insights into what's working well and where improvements can be made, helping us better support Victorian children and families.
By sharing their experiences, families can directly shape the future of the service, ensuring it supports the health and wellbeing journeys of parents, carers and families in raising happy and healthy children.
The survey is available in 10 community languages, in addition to English, including Dari, Vietnamese, Arabic, Mandarin, Khmer, Punjabi, Burmese, Pashto, Hazaragi, and Chin (Hakha), making it accessible to a wide range of families across the state.
The survey is open until 17 November 2024.
