Urgent Care Clinics provide GP-led care to people who need urgent care but not an emergency response. They are run through Priority Primary Care Centres and Medicare Urgent Care Clinics.
Urgent Care Clinics provide medical care when you need to see someone immediately. This includes treatment for mild infections, burns, suspected fractures, and sprains. They also provide pathology and imaging services that may be onsite or located nearby.
Urgent Care Clinics run through Priority Primary Care Centres are being delivered in partnership with the 6 Victorian Primary Health Networks (PHNs). This includes collaboration on clinical resources to support high-quality, safe and consistent services and communication resources to promote the new services to the Victorian community.
