Key messages
- Intravenous Immunoglobulin (IVIg) is a preparation of human immunoglobulin used intravenously. This is a slow infusion into a needle into the vein.
- IVIg use is limited to authorised conditions and there are extra controls for the use of Subcutaneous Immunoglobulin (SCIg).
